Great cleaning power in a small, convenient size.

These pods are great to take along on vacation or on the rare occasions I must go to the laundromat. They take up little space but still have the power of Tide.

I'd use these if I wantedt staticky clothes

My clothes were very staticky after coming out of the dryer. The smell is okay, but I always buy Tide with the pink Downy scent. My clothes felt clean, but as not soft. They are also too expensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

They melt on your clothes

No worries though, they aren't ruined. I soaked my clothes in the wash with a cup of vinegar and it all came off.

Thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear that Tide Pods stuck to your clothes. The following tips should help prevent this from happening in the future.
* Do not place Tide Pods in your washer’s detergent dispenser drawer or detergent dispenser basket. While this will not harm your machine, the Pods are formulated to work effectively by placing directly in the drum of the washer.
* Place the Pod in the drum of your machine before loading clothes or adding water.
* Do not overload your washing machine. There needs to be enough space to provide the agitation needed and to maximize contact with water in order for the Pod to dissolve and distribute its cleaning agents.
* Do not cut open the individual Pod or use for pre-treating.
* Do not use Tide Pods in pre-wash cycles or in quick cycles of less than 30 minutes.

I USE TIDE PRODUCTS SINCE 1963, FIRST THE POWDER THEN LIQUID. THE PODS ARE A DELIGHT. I USED BEADS YESTERDAY FOR THE FIRST TIME. TIDE AND DOWNY ARE A HIT WITH ME. THANK YOU.
