Residue all over several loads of clothes

I have previously used tide pods with no issues, but recently, this has not been the case.
When I had city water, the pods worked like a dream - now that I am on a well, its more like a nightmare. Loads of all sizes come out with melted in pod residue. I have tried reducing my load size (washed a load of three towels on a full load size), to no avail.
I suspect it is my well water that is causing issues with the disintegration of the pod. Going back to liquid detergent ASAP.

Hi there! We don't expect the change in water to affect the PODS® ability to dissolve. Are you placing the POD® directly in the machine before adding clothes? The Trick is Not to Overload

I'm a college student living in a dorm, and trudging up and down three flights of stairs with a hamper of clothes is awful when you're lugging a big bottle of detergent as well. I just bought Tide Pods in the Spring Meadow scent, and so far they've been a life saver. You just bring one or two down to the laundry room. The only problem I've had is that once (just once) the pods left a bit of gunk on a sweater of mine, but that was quickly solved when i washed it a second time. The trick with these is to avoid overloading, otherwise obviously there's going to be a stain on your clothes, because they don't dissolve. I like them a lot, will definitely be purchasing again.

Great product

Tide is my favorite laundry detergent and I was exited to try Tide Pods. It is very easy to use, it has a light scent, and is not messy at all. This product is perfect for a quick wash since detergent, stain remover and softener is in one little pod. For a bigger wash i would strongly recommend adding 2.

unfortunately I am not going to be purchasing again. the pods do not dissolve all the way leaving a residue in my detergent compartment

I’m sorry the PODS® aren’t dissolving properly leaving residue in your detergent compartment. The PODS® are designed to be placed into the actual washer drum before adding in your clothes. We’d hope for these to be convenient and easy to use while providing the best clean for your garments. Love tide pods

I love tide pods!! They are easy to use, do an amazing job at cleaning my clothes and leave a light fresh scent, very pleased that tide came out with pods in the original scent keep these around!!
