The pod does not dissolve when used in cold water.Works well in hot water.

Thanks for your feedback and as a quick fix, you may need to switch to a warm water setting during the winter months or whenever water is exceptionally cold. We also recommend not overloading your washer – this will prevent detergent from getting trapped in fabric folds. Thanks for letting us know.

You have hit the mom where she loves you most, this is the best i have ever seen. i have used the trial packs and this is fantastic. such a easy way to do laundry. bring on the dirty clothes. you guys are top notch..

This is a great product. I have always remembered detergent "packs" from when I was a small child called "Salvo" . They were great. No mess, just toss is a packet. I always wondered why they discontinued this concept and I am very glad it is back. Far less storage room needed and no mess from spilled detergent.

A Great Sample

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the sample was a good idea. It made my laundry so fresh and clean. No mess no hassle just throw it in the washer an you're done.

Liked It But Won't Switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tide Pod was so easy to just drop in. I used it on my husband's work clothes, which get very dirty. It had a strong smell, which was good but a little powerful. I liked the pod; it did a good job cleaning my clothes. I'll probably keep using regular Tide liquid, though, because it lasts me longer since I can decide how much I want to use each time.

It would not be an overstatement to say that I am absolutely thrilled with PODS. I have an HE washer and they work perfectly. I love not having to measure the liquid, and the brightness of the clean laundry is nothing less than amazing.

Ruined my clothes

Don'tuse this product. I didn't figure out what was happening until the third load. At first I thought one of family members left something in a pocket and it melted. But after ruined garment after ruined garment I finally realized the pods were not dissolving and the outer lining was being melted onto my clothes. Two shirts were brand new. The washing machines they make today don't use enough water for this product to work as designed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm very sorry to hear about your experience as this is not something we’ve seen in the development of Tide PODS when used as directed. LEAVES SPOTS ON CLOTHING

I LOVED THE IDEA OF THIS PRODUCT AND AS SOON AS I WAS ABLE TO I BOUGHT IT FOR MY HOUSEHOLD. I WAS TELLING EVERYBODY ABOUT IT BUT THEN I DISCOVERED THAT IT DOES NOT DELUTE RIGHT IN THE WATER AND LEAVES SPOTS ON MY CLOTHES. I DO NOT THINK I WOULD BUY THIS AGAIN. GOING BACK TO MY LIQUID TIDE.
