Tide Pods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tide pods work fine but I would not recommend because I don't think they are worth the price. I do really like the Tide washing powder but I don't like the pods as well eventhough the concept is good. I just wish the smell and quality of the original was there.

Messy Eater!

I have the messiest 7 year old, I believe, in the world! We recently moved in a new house with a new school that required uniforms. I wanted to make sure that my kids looked their best so I went to the mall and spent a little over three hundred dollars on thier clothes. The very first day my daughter comes home with a huge ketchup stain on her shirt that had been there since 10:30 that morning! I thought well there goes that shirt down the drain! Recently my friend had talked me into buying the new Pods, and crossing my fingers I threw it in and hoped for the best. To my surprise when the load was finished the stain was completely gone! I will not go back to other brands because even though they are cheaper they do not do as well and I usually end up getting rid of clothes because they look dull and old. Thank you so much Tide you saved the day!

Convenient, but need size options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pods are a great idea: convenient, no mess, no measuring. From my experience, I feel they work best in a large load of laundry. We have a water filtering system in our home, so it doesn't take much detergent to wash laundry. If too much is used (or the wrong type) then it takes extra rinsings to get the suds rinsed out. I used the sample Pod in a very large load, and it was still too sudsy. We also have a front load washer which doesn't use much water. So between the treated water - and the little water used - I had too much suds. Wish there were a variety of sizes of pods for different size loads and conditions. Cleans VERY WELL though. That part is a 5 star.

Excess bleeding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept is good, but there is nothing to advertise the proper quantity for a load. It only says one is good for most loads. I used one on a large load of blue clothing and now have an odd blue tint on the front of my dryer. The clothing doesn't appear to be faded in any way, but the pod does not dissolve as quickly as implied by the advertisements. It isn't a bad product, but it would help to have a better idea of potency/sizes treated to go with the items, and perhaps smaller podlings for any testing before people use it. Like I said, I don't see any trouble with my clothing, but not everyone will be okay with a dyed dryer.

Ocean Mist Pods

I think the Ocean Mist Tide Pods smell a lot like the discontinued Tide w/Dawn Whitewater Clean scent. The Pods did a superb job in our front-loader on every load we tried them on (including my husband's ultra dirty work uniforms).

I bought the tide pods and liked the idea. Easy but the problem encountered as the outer casing of the pod did not fully dissolve and I did not notice it right away till I had hard crust on blanket after drying. I find it best to break outer sack and throw away I will go back to good old Tide

Glad to hear you love Tide and I'm sorry the PODS didn't fully dissolve. We do recommend trying a little warmer water. Also, make sure the washer isn't over loaded as the Tide POD can get trapped in clothing. In the meantime, give us a call at (800) 879-8433 and we'll be happy to help!
