A Great Product

I have a well system that sometimes leaves a slight odor however, when I used the Tide Pod I was amazed how clean and fresh smelling my laundry was!

I have been using Gain lately, love the smell, it is a little cheaper than Tide, AND it effectively gets my clothes clean. BUT I bought a small bag of Tide pods at the grocery, curious what it is all about. I love them! Smells great, easy to use, no messy detergent bottle AND I love the packaging! (I'm a sucker for that stuff) I will definitely buy again! I got the ocean mist kind. I do wish I could smell the different scents before buying, I just had to go out on a limb and hope I liked the scent, and I did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No mess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the worst parts about laundry detergent is knowing how much or how little to use. Spilling is another problem and having the nasty measuring cup sitting around. Tide Pods eliminates all that.

Sticky mess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a tide pod sample in the mail. I was excited to try it as I love the little cascade pouches. I followed the directions on the package, putting the pod in the washing machine drum, then the clothes. After the load was completed, a blue sticky, gooey substance was left trapped under the door seal. A major disappointment. I use a front loading washing machine as described on the package. I will not be purchasing tide pods!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m sorry the Tide POD isn’t dissolving as it should. It is possible that the pac can migrate to the front of the tub and be pressed up to the door, getting stuck on the seal. This can occur when the tub turns before the load is fully wetted and the pac has not had a chance to dissolve. It’s fairly rare and normally doesn’t affect the cleaning or the washing machine. This can happen with all unit dose laundry products (detergents & additives) on the market. The stuck pac can be removed with a paper towel or cloth and the machine door and/or gasket can be wiped clean with water. Hope this helps!

Staining My Clothes

I haven't used Tide in awhile and usually buy "free" detergent when I do use it, but I wanted to give these cool Pods a try.
I can definitely smell the scent when it is washing, but don't notice much once it is out of the dryer.
What I do notice is that my clothes are getting stained with the blue from the Pod!!!
Not pleased at all. Would love to know what, if anything I might be doing that is wrong.
All of the kids shorts have stains as well as hubby's work shirt. Didn't notice until after everything was out of the dryer, but I am going to try to re-wash (with a different detergent) to save these clothes.
