I use these for files I access frequently at work. My most recent purchase is for my own use at home. Worth the price will not have to purchase hanging file folders for many many years.

The colored plastic files themselves are great and will last a lifetime. However the black plastic bar that slides through on order to hang it just snaps like a potato chip. I cannot have metal at my job and I have bought about 20 of these boxes over the past several years. Some of the black sliders are holding up but most of them snap if you are not super careful with them. I have been asking Staples for years to be able to purchase just the black slider bar but to no avail. When they break I have been rolling up paper in a very tight roll and sliding that part-way in on the broken end.

I use these folders year after year for student work in the classroom. I don't have to buy new folders each year. The colors are vibrant. The kids love them!

Unexpected and wonderful find. Love that they are plastic because they are much more durable. And the feature that allows the hanging tab to slide in is terrific! Reduces the hanging tabs getting caught on things when you have to remove the file from a cabinet drawer etc.
