Poly Hanging File Folders

I purchased these because I needed hanging folders for my new file cabinet. I am kind of the overseer of the writing program in my building. I got a file cabinet to keep my writing samples. I got these folders to put the samples in according to grade. So green for Kindergarten red for first grade and so on. I figured that with these folders I would not have to buy any more for quite a while and honestly the price was better than the paper ones. I love the folders. They are very sturdy and will last a long time. The problem I have is that they don't fit my file cabinet. I thought all file folders were the same and would fit any cabinet. I guess I was wrong. I am still using them but I have to lay them down instead of being able to stand them up.

These are all I use in my biz. I actively use my files. I reconfigure files as needed and regularly so I didn't buy these to just sit in a file cabinet to look pretty. I need to keep up with changing requirements of my customers. The quality of these folders is excellent. They are durable and thus they are versatile. I don't anticipate discarding any soon as I would have with the others. When you do a cost/benefit analysis all-in-all they are not that more expensive than the others for active use and worth it long term. I hope Staples keeps these as part of their product line forever.

They would be perfect if they expanded more like the paper version. They are colorful durable but when they get on the full side they tend to start getting hard to handle. The hangers are thick black plastic and take up a little bit more room but it's worth it in my opinion. They would have gotten a 5 star rating if they came with extra tabs expanded somehow and had a thicker and tougher style hangers. I love these for my home office and noticed improvements over the ones I bought a few years ago. Great product!

It is far better choice than paper hanging folders if you have much paper work like I Do.
