Too high for a standard file cabinet

These folders are too high in my file cabinet drawer causing the drawer not to close well.

I prefer the plastic ends with the curve at the end which don't slide out of the folder like the old steel or tin hangers.

When I started using the hanger clips had damaged about 1/2 of folders in box. They are still usable but makes me wonder how long they will last.
