I wish this product would have been around years ago. This is by far the best tape I have ever used for painting. I never worry about bleed through and know that I will end up with perfectly straight lines...

Exceptional Product and Reliability

Over the past three years I have relocated 3 times and purchase three homes, each needing some level of updates with paint schemes. I strongly recommend the use of Frog Tape over other as I have not seen the same reliability of the tape on other brands. Frog tape continues to be my number one choice as I start a painting project. Never has failed me in maintaining a straight line and eliminating bleed under. Consistant Quality keeps me coming back.

When I read the reviews on Frog Tape I thought I would try it! I paint my kitchen and did not want to touch the paint on my new kitchen cupboards! Well it did the job! Love it and would recommend it to any one who paints! Thank you!

Best Painters Tape ever made

After using another painter's tape when painting baseboards we decided there had to be a better alternative. The cleanup took as long as the painting. Some research was done and we found out about Frog Tape. When we started our next room of baseboards we switched to Frog Tape. What a difference! With the Frog Tape there was no leaking of paint and no cleanup. We now tell everyone we know that the only painter's tape to use is Frog Tape!!

good on flat surfaces horrible on baseboards and small surfaces

I painted my chimney which I did twice, once without the Frog tape and the second time with. The lines were great. I then used the tape on the baseboards in a bedroom and ended up throwing out the tape in frustration. The baseboards have a small amount of surface area the tape can stick to and it didn't stick at all. I ended up going back to the store for the blue tape.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worth the Extra Work

First of all, Frogtape is a much better product than the blue painter's tape. The seal the Frogtape creates is much tighther than the "other" brand. While the tape is a bit expensive, and the process of taping off is a long and tedious one, it is worth it in the end. One BIG reccomendation is to remove the tape while your paint is still wet. This will prevent and ripping of the paint that has bonded with the tape.
