We used these clear pushpins to build the structure of the brain. Each color pushpin was placed in the shape of the brain parts in a styrofoam head. The clears ones were used to mark the motor strip.
they work well in cork or soft materials. but I was using them to hang lightweight canvases against a wood wall and they kept breaking. you can only push them by hand (as described by their name). If you use a small hammer to tap them in ...they break. For that purpose...a metal headed push pin would be best.
It was just what I needed for holiday decorations support.

Need these for memoray boards for reunion and for family birthdays. The pins are too long for the foam core boards. Used to be able to find 1/8" pins.........haven't been able to locate them past two years!
