How heavy-duty do they need to be?

I wouldn't try hanging a glassed picture frame from a push-pin but that would be downright foolish. These pins are sharp enough to pierce the covering on a bulletin board small enough to fit in a tight margin large enough to extract easily and cheap enough to keep plenty on hand. Not chic but they work.
