If your the sort of detail-oriented human who feels a need to read a review of push pins I hope this does not disappoint. I needed push pins to put some colorful trail maps up on the otherwise dull walls of my office and Staples was my go-to brick and mortar store. My first choice would have been aluminum but they did not have those. I don't like the randomness of multi-color and I don't have the OCD to sort them into color groups so I chose "clear". It was a brilliant choice as they are hardly visible against the paper and colors of the trail maps (PA Appalachian Trail Sections). They also performed as hoped comfortably piercing the drywall the clear plastic head of the push pin providing adequate gripping surface to maintain excellent control. Ultimately I only used 20 of the 100 push pins but if anything else needs to be displayed on my office wall as long as it's pretty thin Staples Push Pins Clear will be my first choice to make it happen. In fact I think these are the "luxury" version of push pins much like clear plastic utensils are more posh than opaque or colored plastic ones. Upgrade your bulletin board impress your colleagues. You'll feel better and you'll be better.
These push pins contain noticeably less plastic than the push pins I'm used to. That can be a disadvantage when pushing them in (some broke). For most uses they work as well as the thicker ones except that you're aware that even push pins are made more cheaply.
