I used one of these spines to put together my 6 month personal day planner with a front and back cover that was made from a file folder that was laminated. It works very well. I wish the spine was made a little thicker (better quality).

I bind double-sided documents of 15-20 sheets on a regular basis. This system is by far the best for a finished product which lays flat and is easy to use.
