I make calendars and notepads using the closures. They are easy to use last a long time open easily with the binding machine. Can refill my note paper when it is low.

Secret to success: Always use products from same manufacturer when performing task. They may each have their own specifications or characteristics which may not coincide. The cost is not important when considering the finished product and frustration.

Staples Plastic Comb Binding Spines 1/4" Diameter are excellent for small binding projects where I need booklets for training. It is more efficient to use binding spines rather than staples it is more professional looking easier to turn the pages and lends itself to an attractive presentation piece. If I need to insert another sheet it is easy enough to open the comb insert the sheet(s) and re-bind. The variety of colors that are available in binding spines adds to the creativity and uniqueness of each booklet produced.
