I was happy with the performance of this product especially with the ease in which it was used. I purchased one box to try it out and after I used it the first time I went back and purchased another box. It appeared fragile but in essence performed the way I had hoped it would. It was a very inexpensive item doing a very important job - binding together a church anniversary journal. Producing our own anniversary journal as opposed to having it printed and bound professionally saved us a lot of money and this product played a big part in it all.
Our church uses many sizes of the plastic binders. The different sizes offfered at Staples we find very helpful for our uses. We use the large size Staples plastic binding spines for our ladie's group cookbooks. We use the Staples plastic comb binding spines - 3/4 inch for binding material for use throughout the church. Our chancel choir uses th 3/4 inch binding spines for binding music and our Youth group uses the binding spines for all types of material. We have a binding machine and find that the Staples brand plastic binding spines work well with our binding machine!
We use them to make graduation books for our Pre- School Graduate. The Parent love the books. I wish you could carry coil binding spines. Thank You we make these books every years.
We love the staples brand comb bindings. We have used other cheaper brands and have found that you get what you pay for. Staples is great at standing behind the quality of their products. We probably go through 10 boxes of these a week.
I used these to bind books that I printed for my granddaughter to practice reading. These have worked very well for that purpose. As stated I only had 2-3 lose their shape.
