This file cabinet is perfect for my home office. It's sturdy construction and convenience of use are exactly what I wanted.

I found this file cabinet to be relatively lightly made; drawers were balky to open and close even with nothing in them. Did not come equipped with rails to allow front to back letter filing with hanging folders; although Staples sells aftermarket setups they don't work with existing rails and were clumsy to assemble. A private brand also sold at Staples sold a substantially stronger unit and a different vendor also knew how to easily enable this type of filing.

This is particle board! Not worth the price.

For the price that you are paying for this cabinet it should be made out of something better than particle board! I purchased this cabinet and the bottom fell out of it after only two years. I rarely used the cabinet and didn't have much in the bottom drawer. The screws came out when I opened it one day and completely shredded the particle board...making it irreparable!
