Nice paper works well in our Brother laser printers but VERY expensive

I stopped in our local Staples to grab a couple of reams of paper to tide us over until I could get a case of laser printer paper. I got two of these and then got cash register shock as I left in a rush. Very nice quality but very very expensive.

For printing on both sides i like the 22 lb paper so words and photos are clear. One page keeps the weight well within the one ounce for posted envelopes.

As Goldilocks might say: This 22 pound paper is just right --- not too thick and not too thin. It's adequate (barely) for 2-side printing with almost no bleed through. Admittedly 24 pound is better for this use but for everyday print needs which do not always require back-to-back printing this is an economic way to go. The brightness is acceptable when the cost per ream is calculated. The product itself gets 5 stars. However the packaging gets only 2 stars. The paper formerly used to wrap the product was excellent unlike the current one which allows the ends to be crumpled. In fact my last shipment was actually torn open at both ends and corners were frayed.

This paper is exceptional. The brilliance of the paper makes it look clean and professional. This paper is also 22# weight. This gives it that extra quality feel when placed in the hands of a client. This paper is also acid-free which gives it a better quality. It does not yellow over time either which is an exceptional quality for me as I do family histories on this paper. Having a paper that is economical and will stand the test of time is the perfect combination for me. I give this paper very high marks.

I go through so much paper because I volunteer for an organization so I can't spend a lot. This paper does the job but there are times I switch to the higher-end paper.
