Storage boxes-economy for sure. But Okay

I got these to store smaller boxes of collectibles and crafts as well as file folders. The material is a bit thin the perforations a bit hard to rip apart. Once the box is put together it seems sturdy enough. I have only used it to store boxes of smaller items. I have not tried to fill it with files yet. I don't think the bottom will fall out but I don't think these will stand up to a lot of moving files in and out of them. For office use where there will be a lot of use I would get heavier ones.
They are "strong enough" and practical to carry just about anything. We use them for everything from a Dog toy box in the office cleaning supply storage and of course inactive files.
The Staples Economy Boxes are great. They come in a ten-pack for a reasonable cost and are more than worth the money. I purchased a number of these for moving books. The boxes have handles built into the walls and stack easily. To assemble you need to disconnect the lid at the perforation and fold the corners in. Then separate the flaps at the perforations and fold the bottom in before the sides. If done incorrectly the bottom flap will hang down make sure you follow the directions. Once complete the boxes are ready to be filled. While they are designed for files (hence the name bankers boxes) the work great for stacking and storing all kinds of things. I highly recommend these.
I have been using these boxes for years. All my archived files are in these boxes which makes it easier for storage and stacking. They arrive flat and are easy to store until they are ready to be used. They are easy to assemble and hold up well for the storage of paper files. Most of the boxes are completely full of paper and weigh quite a bit. They have a preprinted area to write the dates and a description of what is in the box. We have sent boxes to an offsite records retention facility for long term storage and they were acceptable to the company we use.
