I bought Gel Pens when they debuted in the 1990s and I really didn’t like them. Too sloppy to use. So I hope these will perform better. I did not use them as of yet. Bought them for file folders. So I am hoping and will give them 5 stars.

The pens seem fine; however when i first tried to write with these none of the pens i tried would work. I returned to the store and was informed that I had to remove the "tip" from the pen. She scraped off a very tiny plastic cover over the tip and the pen worked fine. NOWHERE on the packaging did it instruct me to remove the tip cover. I kept the pens but the trip to the store cost me 45 minutes of driving time and gas. Completely avoidable with better labeling on the package. C'mon Staples. Get with the mfg to make this better.

The pens are not the best quality. One didn’t write at all. The others are difficult to get a good flow from. They scratch at the paper and skip a lot. I’ve bought the 1 mm point before and they are much better quality.
