I was really excited for a very fine point gel pen in a colorful variety for my planner but they do not work! Nothing more frustrating than having blotchy writing. The pens fade in and out right out the packaging. I wonder if I got a bad batch considering the other reviews.

I consider myself a pen connoisseur. I have probably purchased every type of pen available in the US. I have purchased many different types and colors of the Tru Red brand. I love them all. They write very smooth and they are very reasonably price. I will continue to purchase this brand.

Bold bright colors that don't smear. They dry quickly so highlighting is not an issue either. The rubber-like barrel is soft to the touch and comfortable to hold.
