I have a brass plate to follow patterns that takes a fine tip...these do not work with it. They flare from the immediate tip too much.

I wasn't expecting much as they were on such a great sale but these TRU RED permanent markers are fantastic. Very light compact and most of all writes well. Now I just opened the box and fiddled around with one so I don't know about longterm prospects. But for now I am really happy!
