Unuseable rolls

I have always picked Scotch brand in the past for my masking tape. I have been having more and more problems with with the tape sticking to itself on the roll. As a homeowner, I don't use a LOT of masking tape, so I thought it may be due to my rolls being older. I recently bought two new rolls of 2" and I roll of 1" from a big box store. I am not able to get any tape off of the rolls without it tearing across itself into tissue thin points. I thought it might be due to being a cold day. Nope, it does the same on a warm day. I'm rethinking my loyalty to Scotch brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Must Have Bought a Bum Roll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Scotch tape products and have always had five-star performance from everything I've ever used from this brand.
This product, however, was not sticky at all. At least, that's the case with the roll I bought. For the price, I was disappointed and won't probably risk getting another roll just to see if the one I bought was a bum roll or something.
I love these types of tapes, and I was really hoping to be able to start using Scotch's tapes all over the place. I was especially excited by all the great patterns, i.e. poppy and sunflower!
Anyway, what a bummer! I hope anyone else who purchases these products gets stickier tape than I did! Best to you all!

Love this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my free sample of Washi Tape in the afternoon mail, and found a great use for it within minutes!
I used it to label our plastic storage containers of pasta and baking staples in our pantry. As the items change, we can easily reuse and reapply the tape.

Love This Tape

We received a free roll of the washi tape and used it to make a hop scotch in our living room so our daughter could get some energy out during this cold weather. It stich to the carpet well but comes up easily and leaves no residue. Absolutely wonderful!!!

Have fun with masking tape

I received the product free from 3M.
3M has lots of colors to be creative in your projects. I received a beautiful blue patterned roll. I plan on using it as decorations for wrapping paper. My 6 year old loves to "artzooka" projects and this will also make a nice addition.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sticky side won't come clean

I received this as a free sample. I was excited about this sample because I LOVE Washi tape. But when I tried to use it it won't come off the roll clean. Almost like there's a film that says and rips off. I've tried a clean start and nothing. I've tried to rip the film off, and it still doesn't work. I eventually had to throw it away, it's no good. I'm hoping it was just that roll and not all of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
