Imagine my surprise when I went to the stand to get a ream or two of paper saw the $5.49/ream price then was hit with $6.99/ream I believe at the checkout counter. I was told the reason for not receiving the reduced price was because I wasn't using the app for the purchase. The "cost" was certainly bold enough on the stand but the requirement to use the app was well disguised. I find this advertising to be questionable at best and certainly annoying and frustrating. In the future I will be looking elsewhere for copy paper before checking Staples. As a side note I find the 96 brightness to be unnecessarily bright. It could be reduced to 92 or even 88 and still produce good results probably at a lower cost.

Quite honestly I was running low on paper and I was hoping to get a better deal but that was not the case although I am quite confident that my intended purpose for producing quality reports has been satisfied.
We purchased the paper because it was on sale for the same price as another brand which had 5 reams of paper. This sale was perfect because we really needed the paper and I also had a Staples coupon. The paper works very well for our needs and our granddaughters who enjoy drawing and creating their own story books love having their own reams. Thank you very much for this much appreciated sale!
Even though the package states less paper jams it does jam as well as 5 and 6 sheets coming out of the printer at the same time. Will purchase a better grade of paper next time.
