Really waterproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteered to evaluate products for 3m, and the company recently sent me a sample of Nexcare waterproof tape. Sometimes I tend to cut my fingers when using knives and I constantly have to wash my hand at least 10 or more times a day. So wearing bandaids can become quite a pain because they keep falling off. The Nexcare tape is very sturdy and most importantly, it's waterproof. It doesn't come off with my frequent hand washing.

Very stucky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not yet had a medical need to use the product, but to test how well the waterproof aspect works, I applied a piece of the product to my hand and proceeded to wash dishes...I had no problems with the product staying in place...

It’s a Sticky situation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and I recently received a free sample of Nexcare absolute waterproof tape. I have a child who runs cross country who has had a toe injury this season. It has been very difficult, because the bandage has been coming off because of all the sweat. Along, comes my free tape and it actually works! It is super sticky, adhering to the gauze and staying put! It is easy to tear, no need for scissors. He didn’t complain it was too tight around the toe giving him comfort and flexibility for running. For fun, I did an experiment placing a piece on my hand. Over several hours, I washed my hands multiple times and did dishes. When I was finished the tape was still adherent to my skin with no signs it was letting go! Removal felt just like taking off a bandaid.

Performs Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fortunately, I have yet to suffer a skin wound since the sample product has arrived. That has not prevented me from trying a little to see if it indeed does stretch a bit and is indeed waterproof. It does so wonderfully and appears to approximate my skin tone well enough. While it binds well it removes painlessly and leaves no stickiness behind. Can't really say I look FORWARD to an injury but I'm glad to be able to have this product at hand when that eventuality occurs!

3M Water Proof Tape Works Great

Great quality

I used the tape and I was able to continue to cook and wash dishes .It is waterproof and it stays on without a problem . I received this product for free to test but I will buy it in the future .

Flex, Stretch, Waterproof Miracle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied the Nexcare absolute waterproof tape to my middle finger of my right hand to protect it while lifting and using my hand weights and performing household tasks. This tape was so comfortable I forgot it was in place on my finger. When flexing my finger it did not bind at my joints or produce any pressure. I wash my dishes by hand and was amazed that it stayed adhered to itself and my finger each time I did this task. It also remained in place during bathing and washing my face and ringing out wash cloths and dish rags. It did not slip out of place while doing my workouts with hand weights.

Better than bandaids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While raking, the wooden handle took off some of my skin between my thumb and pointer finger, near the lower knuckle of my thumb. I only give this detail because that is an awkward spot for a bandaid. But still, I tried to wear bandaids for 2-3 days. One side would stay on but the other side would always hang off. I also wash my hands a lot (I'm an elementary teacher) so the water would not help it to stay on. I almost gave up but then I remembered that I had this waterproof tape. I was a little afraid to use it because it seemed thick and seemed like it might hurt my scrape. I decided to try it anyway. I put a gauzepad on and taped it. Wow!! I noticed a difference straight away. First of all, the tape is thick but it's super soft and flexible. The stickiness is superb. I washed my hands a few times and have been doing my normal things. I even showered with it on. Everything is still on with no signs of moving! The tape is comfortable too. I'm not sure why I'd use anything else now. Highly recommend this product. It's better than I expected!
