Great Water Proof Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the 3M waterproof tape to try. I thought I would try it around a bandage (from a cut I received the day before) while I washed up. The tape stayed put. This tape will go in my first aid kit.

Great Product for the First Aid Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape from 3M to try. I had to draw blood for a doctor's appointment but the tech left a large needle-wound on the inside of my elbow. I used the tape to cover it while I showered and it performed beautifully: the adhesive is edge to edge so it kept the water from penetrating and made the bandage move correctly with every bend of the elbow. I think I will try it on my heels next to prevent blistering. Caution: the adhesive is one that only lasts one application (though no residue is left behind) so make sure you put it on right the first time since it's not a remove-and-replace product.

Sticks without being sticky!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some new shoes to break in, and was fearful of those dreaded blisters. I used Nexcare Absolute Waterproof tape to the back of my ankles and gave them a spin around town working on those shoes. I walked for at least 3 miles, and not once did I experience any blisters! The tape held securely in place the entire time. When I got home and removed the tape, the process was super easy. It didn't hurt at all. There was no sticky residue left behind either. The tape is easy to cut, thick without being too thick, and is simple to use. I can see this being a benefit over large cuts and scrapes that need waterproof protection as well.
