Does not work as advertised

Four rolls of Nexcare Tape was purchased and sent to my care giver sister. Both my sister and a visiting nurse dried the patient's skin and placed a gaze pad over the wound. The area was made dry for tape adhesion. The next day, when bandage change arrived, the tape had come loose and the gaze pad had shifted. The wound is located in the buttock area of the patient's perspiration as well as moisture release from the wound had lifted the tape. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gave me sores

Bought this expensive tape to secure a gauze pad to a burn. I don't have overtly sensitive skin and have used various other tapes in the past that have caused nonirritations other than pulling my hair. When I changed the dressing the following morning the tape gave me a blistering burn. I now have to treat two burns.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This stuff works!

I bought this product a few months ago and so far it's working great! I originally bought it when my toddler had a skin infection and I needed to keep it protected. This tape is definitely waterproof. It stayed in place all day. I've since used it on myself and I'll continue to buy this product for my family.

Burned me!

Placed as a border around gauze type of material to protect surgical wound. Not only did it not stick for long on one side, but when I removed it a few hours later from the two areas it was applied to I had welt marks which turned into many small blisters soon after. "Dermatologist tested" doesn't mean it was actually approved or recommended by one. Beware!
