This product really didn't hold up

I bought this tape a few weeks ago because I currently have a temporary dialysis catheter located on my upper left chest. I was told by a dialysis nurse to get a ziplock bag and cut it into a single lay and tape it completely around with tape to prevent water from getting to the catheter. These catheters can be a very big source of infection especially if they get wet.
I was careful to completely cover the edges of the plastic with this tape and got in the shower. I had the showers pressure as low as it would go, kept the water on my back and none the less in about a minute or two the tape began coming off. The catheter site did get slightly wet but I was quick to get out of the shower.
I got very lucky I didn't develop an infection. I'm very disappointed in this product. It's also worth noting this tape cost at least double what normal medical tape would cost and probably didn't hold up any better than it would have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Blisters (2) and skin irritation

I bought this tape to hold a medication patch on my skin. It peeled away from my skin, but whatever.
I have to change my patch ever three days. Imagine my surprise when I found redness and two blisters! The white stuff in the photo is salve.
I was surprised it's hypoallergenic. I'm really surprised people use it to prevent blisters.
Can you help me? I'm going nuts trying to find a product that will hold my pain patch on me. You can see in the photo that I applied it to the patch's edges.

great for hard to tape areas.

Love this tape. I use it for hard to tape areas of the hand and foot and don't have to worry about it coming off before I'm ready to remove the bandage.

Great for Hikers

This is a wonderful product to prevent blisters on feet with any kind of hiking shoes and it saved me on number of hiking trips.

Comfortable tape!~

Over the past several years, I've used this tape on hands, elbows and knees and it works wonderfully. It's comfortable to wear, stays on during activity and comes off easily, I recommend this for all bandaging needs.

Great Waterproof Tape!

I bought this to wrap a cut that I had on my hand. It held up so good for days! I would recommend this for anyone that needs waterproof tape to cover your wounds! Awesome product!

Best medical tape!

My family loves that Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape stays on, even on joints, and that allows us to move comfortably. We often break out in tape rash from other brands of tape, but Nexcare works the best, since the few occasions where someone has had a rash has been minimal and only after extended use (over a week).
I would recommend this to a friend!
