Hate the Reinforcement

Believe it or not it's tough to find graph paper that is 8.5 x 11. Most are 8x10 but I really needed the standard paper size in order to coordinate with other materials. I thought the reinforcements would be a great idea - until I got the paper. I need the graph paper to use for work which require printing material on the graph paper. The shiny reinforcement however causes the ink to rub off which makes a mess! I think it would be great for SOME purposes but as another person stated even in many classed that area needs to be written on. If it was on the back of the paper I could make it work. Being on the front however makes the dilemma even worse. I will have to make do since I can't return it after opening it.

Just what I was looking for

My daughter needed graph paper for her math class. I searched several stores but was unable to find such a simple item. Next time I'll know to shop Staples first. I buy I all of my business products through the website so I'm not sure why I didn't think of it!

A bad choice

I thought the paper with the reinforced edge would be perfect for my son who carries his math papers around in his binder most of the semester. But he did not like the plastic-y edge because he could not write on it (as is needed sometimes). Also the Algebra teacher asked that the students not use this type of paper. So I was back at Staples a couple of days later buying different graph paper without a reinforced edge. It is a good product but perhaps it is best for specific uses (and specific teachers).

Excellent for High School Math

The reinforced graph paper is excellent for the high school math student! The paper holds up to the vigorous use and the crowding of binders into backpacks.
