In painting our great room, kitchen, dining and hallway we have come to love what Frogtape can do in making our paint job PERFECT! Using this tape is a great way to get crisp lines where the ceiling meets the walls and for all our white painted trim!

Same as any tape and messed up my wall

Spent a stupid amount of money on this bc ita supposed to be better than the rest. Ironically it worked for my stucco wall but destroyed my normal drywall walls. After only a couple days it tore down through my wall all the way to drywall. On very dry paint, very slowly at 90°. Doesnt work any better or worse than reg tape bc both destroyed my walls beyond a simple repair equally. Never wastimg the extra money for this brand if its gonna behave the same way as cheaper tape

Fine until I went to remove. Now going to have to paint the entire ceiling as it has pulled off a huge amount of paint. Would not recommend or use again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my roll of FrogTape Multi-Surface tape for more than painting. It helps to hold some cables down along the bottom of the wall so they won't stick out. It is more durable than standard masking tape, and it gives me the best results for the painting projects I have.

I bought the package of Frog tape when I purchased my house in 1998. We've decided to put the house on the market so a fresh coat of paint is a must. No paint on the hard wood floors where we used the frogtape. Where we used the " blue stuff", we spent hours cleaning off the smear. Thank you!

I see no need to enclose tape in a hard plastic container. That is the only reason I use Scotts

Garbage Product - don't use!

I used this to tape off my ceiling so I'd have a nice sharp line between ceiling and walls, it was applied for approx 48 hrs and the paint had almost 20 hrs dry time. When I peeled it off it took the wall paint with it. Now I'll need to re-tape (another brand) and repaint all over again. Doubled my work effort.

Hi! We are very sorry to see you had some paint tear while using FrogTape. When old paints lifts like this, it is an indication that it did not make a complete bond to the surface. We recommend removing the tape while the paint is still wet. If the paint dries and you notice that the paint is pulling up with the tape, or that the paint is cracking along the paint line as you remove the tape, score along the edge of the tape with a razor blade before removing.
