I originally purchased these to be used as name tags for a club I run. Since there were so many that came in the box I've found other uses for them. Great for labeling shelves and storage bins.

Customizing name tags for an informal wedding part

When our son got married on the East Coast there so many family and friends who couldn't attend, we made a huge party here on the West Coast the week after the wedding. In fact we made two of them on two consecutive nights. One night was for family and the second night was for friends, we had about 90 people at each event. Because the bride and her family were from the East Coast it was important to me that everyone as they met a new face would know where they fit into the bride & groom's life. So, I used these nametags to create a background and title, like "Joe & Suzy's wedding reception" and then I was able to print in the middle of each label the name of the person and their relationship to the bride or groom. Each night had a different color scheme. For example: Jane Suzy's mother and, Melodie One of Joe's Favorite Cousins (there were a lot of those.) All the attendees were thankful that for once at a big event they were able to actually know who the people they were meeting were. Most important the Avery name tag label was easy to use. I was able to not only make it look festive, but I was able to customize it. Thank you Avery.

I have never been so happy with a label as I am with these name badge labels - you won't believe how easy they are to use! Someone told me about them and I couldn't believe that they were as easy as they said, and they were indeed! As well as being very professional looking. I would happily recommend them and in fact, I already have!

I ordered the generic alternative for 5395 Avery labels from an office supply store. There is no comparison, so we had to return them and replace the substitutes with the original Avery labels. The quality and ease of use was worth the difference.

This are great in general when you have to print up labels for meetings. A few times, I've had to set-up a last minute meeting with maybe an hour or two to prepare. Most people coming only knew their own group, so it was very quick and easy to print up these labels with everyone name and company name on it.

The Avery name badges are so easy to utilize and since they just stick onto clothing your guests do not need to worry about pin wholes.

I like how these badges are so easy to peel, stick and use after you have printed on them whatever logo you wish. As someone who owns a side business networking at craft fairs and at local professional meetings, I find that these name tags are useful for either setting.

NOT Address Labels

I used to use address labels for name tags until I realized that they could damage clothes! Now I use these for quick and easy name tags. I do insert a logo or event name and print up extras without a name for those unexpected guests.
