They write just as smoothly, with consistent ink flow and no skipping, which makes them a joy to use for journaling, notes, or decorative projects. The colors are vibrant with a subtle metallic shimmer that really stands out on dark paper—especially black or navy—but they also look nice on white paper, though some of the lighter shades like silver and gold can appear more subtle. The pens have the same comfortable rubber grip as the original G2s, making them easy to use for extended periods without hand fatigue. They don’t bleed through standard paper, though there may be a bit of ghosting on thinner sheets. One drawback is that the ink takes a little longer to dry, so smudging can be an issue, particularly for left-handed writers.
