#1 Size Paper Clips - Nonskid

At first glance who would think that a nonskid version of the old fashioned paper clip would be anything but a gimmick. I ordered these for work and decided to give them a try. Who knew? They really seem to work. They don't slide off as readily when used for a thicker bunch of paper -- guess that's all you can ask for.

IRRITATING --- DO NOT BUY

I absolutely HATE these non-skid paper clips because they leave gray marks all over the 1st page of whatever you are clipping. Although I am a person who almost never throws anything away that is useful I have no problem "winging" these irritating enemies into the garbage every time I see one. Of course if you want such unerasable skid marks on your presentation page go ahead and order them. As for me I'll stick to purchasing Staples smooth paper clips and take my chances that the papers I clip together will not skid!

grip well but break easily

These clips have little "chop" marks on the wire. This lets them grip paper nicely when used as designed. otoh when you try to unbend the clip to use it as a probe or any of the million other "off design) uses for a paper clip they tend to snap at the score. Recommended with a caution.
