I had purchased this for my mom for her mail. It is roomy enough that you don't have to 'scrape' your fingers along the side. It holds quite a bit. Large enough for magazines too !

GREAT LEGAL SIZE BASKET

These black mesh legal size baskets are very sturdy and great for handling legal files documents drawings and all items while a project is in progress. They nestle inside the other so they can be stacked even with files in them. Great for organization of documents until a project is completed and they go into the permanent file. A bit pricey; but the metal used is heavier than most - catch them on sale and it's a great buy.
