Great storage boxes! Bottoms and tops are easy to assemble. They hold a lot of weight. We have used them for many years and will continue use them. file letter size file folders fit in perfectly. We transfer from our file system into the boxes easily and quickly.
I love these storage boxes. They are easy to put together all you pretty much have to do is push the sides of the box inside the box. It takes about a minute to do. The lid takes some assembling too all you have to do is fold the sides down on each side. These are really sturdy boxes that will last for years and years to come. The only issue I have with them is that they are really pricey and you only get 12 in the box. I will most definitely recommend them to anybody who is in need of a really sturdy storage box.
These boxes are great if you need an inexpensive way to store documents for a long time. I have been using this particular kind of "banker's box" for years. The only tricky part is ripping the lid section away from the box section without tearing the paper. Other than that assembly is pretty easy and the boxes have held up for over five years. They can be used for hanging files but I like using them with folders without the hanging files. I have used them professionally for student/school records for between five and ten years now. When I bought a house this year I went straight to these boxes for moving my personal papers and knick-knacks because I know how handy and sturdy they are.
Okay so I didn't have a need for 10 of these boxes but when I started comparing prices between the Staples brand Banker Box and others on the Internet it became apparent that this was a really great deal. I will eventually use them all. The construction is a bit lighter than Banker Box which I was able to see and handle right along side the Staples brand. Really... why do you need a receipt storage box strong enough to park a car in? Its paper and it is going to sit on a shelf in the attic or garage and rarely if ever be opened again. Anyway these boxes have all the quality in materials and construction you could ask for at a fraction of the price of the Banker Box brand. I would highly recommend these over the other more expensive brands.
I use these boxes to store my reference books. As a freelance writer I use a lot of books to refer to when I am researching an article for publication or when writing a blog post on one of my sites. I have these boxes stacked in my office in file cabinet style. The generous writing space on the box allows for clear identification of which books are inside. I also use various colored markers to identify certain subjects. I open and close these boxes a lot and they have stood up to my abuse. These boxes have allowed me to work very efficiently and they don't cost an arm and a leg.
