New Scent is Horrible!

I've been using Tide Original over 20 years now. I'm so disappointed in Tide for changing the formula. Why would you change something that's not broken? I'm on a hunt for a new detergent!

Miss the Original Scent

Tide user for nearly 40 years. Really miss the old original scent. The new scent is too perfumey.

New “Original Scent” not up to snuff.

They changed their product and now I smell like a car deodorizer. Please change it back to the original scent.

new formula smells like cheap (nasty) cologne

Do the folks at Tide not know how much we loved Tide Original scent? Clothes smelled clean. Not like this new, florid, air-freshener-covering-up-a-bad-odor business.

New scent is too strong!

So sad that you changed the scent of Tide Original. The smell was refreshing, but not too strong. Now it’s completely overwhelming! There are so many strong detergents on the market already.

Absolutely hate hate hate the new scent of “original” Tide. Overpowering and just plain terrible. What a shame! Currently looking for a new detergent...

Just returned a new bottle of Tide with the new “original” scent. absolutely HATE HATE HATE it! So overpowering and terrible. Such a shame! Currently looking for a new brand of detergent...

We updated the scent of our Original to provide a better freshness experience, particularly on dry fabrics!
