Awful new scent

We used Tide Original Scent because we don't like a heavy scent on our laundry. I just bought a 200 fl. oz. jug - complete waste of money. My husband can't even stand to have his clothes washed in it.

Loyal Orginial Scent Tide Customer No More!

Throwing away the falsely adv. "original" scent, returning our remaining stockpile & re-washing in a new brand. Suggesting Mt Spr as alt solidifies you have misunderstood why we buy org.

New smell is the worst. The Original Tide smell was iconic (all I've ever used in 40 years), and now smells like the cheapest perfume ever. I see I'm not alone. Checking out the competition currently.

Not original anymore

The new scent is intolerably bad. And worse, it's marketed as Original. I've been using the old original for decades. I don't know what I'm going to use now.

Scent change?

Did the scent change? It’s awful! I use Tide because it works well but I’m rewashing my clothes now and we’ll be switching ASAP. Can’t believe it changed without even a heads up on the label.

The meaning of "original" is clearly lost on P&G executives who thought it would be wise to put out a NEW scent while still labeling it "original". The new "original" stinks - LITERALLY!

Overpowering scent just wasted my money!

Why change? Original means original. Make a new scent and market it as such. I can’t believe after 30 years of doing laundry I have to find a new detergent.

I have always bought Tide original because I don’t like flowery scents. I now have to return the Tide back to the store for a refund. I do not like it and my husband doesn’t either.
