I have used Tide Original for years. First the powder and the the liquid. it used to be the scent was unremarkable. This meant that in the winter clothing or sheets didn't stand out for their good or bad scent. But when the season's changed I looked forward to being able to hang my laundry out in the fresh air. It always smelled so good.... so fresh.
Now, the detergent scent is so strong that my laundry no longer smells good when hung out to dry. My bra has the overwhelming chemical smell for days...... it is stronger than the perfume I wear. It used to be that there was nothing better than the smell of your bed sheets freshly off the line when you went to bed. Now, I can't sleep for the extreme strong chemical smell that even our fresh air can't overcome. I no longer want to slip between the sheets and curl my nose into my pillow.......It stinks! Hard to sleep holding your nose!

Your safety is our top priority, Finn, and we’re sorry to discover that your Tide Liquid Laundry Detergent with Original scent has changed and you no longer feel comfortable with it. Your sleep is very important, and we want you to stay safe; please, stop using this detergent. To remove the fragrance from your bedding and clothes, rewash them with the hottest water safe for the fabric, using the recommended amount of detergent and fabric softener. If the items are bleach-safe, use bleach while washing, not safe for bleach? Add one cup of vinegar to the wash. Finally, use a washing machine cleaner to get any malodors out of your machine. Please, call us with an update on how you’re feeling, we’re here weekdays from 9 AM to 6 PM, EST. Saturday and Sunday, we’re here 9 AM to 5:30 PM, EST. Our number is 1-800-879-8433.

I used to think all detergents cleaned the same my mother used Tide when I was a kid years ago I started really using it a few years ago I recently washed a blanket in Persil it didn’t make suds when I washed it I went back to my Tide and got a better clean

Smell is awful. I miss the old scent so much. I also noticed the liquid is thinner. With that being said you have to use more.

We understand that preferences can vary from person to person, so we're sorry to hear that you weren't a fan. We'd also like to share that the consistency of your detergent can be affected by temperature exposure, such as the product being stored in extreme heat, such as on a dryer, in direct sun or in a hot car.

TIDE AND CLOROX IS SWELL ON WHEELS..... FOLLOWING THE CORRECT AMOUNT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET THE FULL BENEFITS.
MY MOM USED IT IN HERE MAYTAG WRINGER WASHER IN THE 1960'S AND MY FAMILY INCLUDING MY CHILDREN USE THESE PRODUCTS..

I got coffee staying on my shirt and I used the other one didn’t work so I got tired and it’s really good without the stuff like kids do like if they play and bottles

The best laundry soap

Probably one of the best laundry soaps I have tried. The smell is nice and long lasting. I love how soapy it gets with such little amount. Definitely recommend getting any kind of tide they all are so good.
