My whole family hates the new scent in the Tide! There was no warning on the bottle! I’ve used Tide all my life! This will be the first time that I change detergents! Go back to the original smell! If something works we’ll leave it alone

Green Liquid Tide!

I’ve used tide for nearly 40 years. I’ve used liquid original Tide since it was created. Recently purchased two large bottles that are green! Did the color change? Even my family noticed and asked me about it.. What is up with the green color? Is it safe to use? Concerned for our laundry and my HE washer.

BEEN USING TIDE FOR YEARS/THIS IS THE WORST SMELL EVER. USED ONE TIME//GOING IN THE TRASH.CLOTHES NEED ANOTHER WASH TO KILL THE STINKIN SMELL.....

New scent gives me a headache!

I've used Tide original for over 2 decades but the new scent gives me a headache! I had to rewash my clothes without detergent TWICE just to lessen the chemical perfume scent enough to be able to wear them.

Horrible smell and very strong. I had to buy Tide Original because I couldn’t find Tide Cold Water. The smell is so strong on my clothes makes me nauseated. I had to re-wash them to get rid of the smell. I believe they have changed the scent or the formula because I used to use Tide Original many years ago and it was my favorite. I’ll be throwing this bottle in the trash. Very disappointed!

Warning! Original is no longer original!

This is the second time Tide has changed their original scent but still called it original. I wasn't happy with the first change, but the scent was tolerable so I kept using it. This new "original" scent is disgusting. It smells like a bad room freshener. I've been a loyal customer for 30 years, but I will be returning this and finding a new detergent.

Tide Original Scent…New scent is TERRIBLE!

I have used Tide my entire life. I have always purchased the original scent. It was a pleasant subtle, clean scent. I just purchased a new bottle of original and the scent was overwhelming, and not in a good way. It’s so strong that when I washed clothes on my first floor, I could smell it all the way up to the second floor! I thought it might be a bad batch, so I bought and tried another. Same result. The scent is so strong it gives me a headache. I have never strayed from Tide, but because of this, I am switching brands. I am so disappointed, but cannot tolerate this strong, horrible scent. PLEASE go back to the original formula. “If it ain’t broke….”

Smells bad

I recently bought the original scent after my daughter said she used Tide pods and her clothes smelled nice. I used Tide original many years ago and remember it had a pleasant scent. Well, this smells like wet towels left in a pile for days. I even used a cleaning tablet in my almost new top loader but when I used Tide, the smell came back. It’s not moisture, it’s this “original” scent. Why?
