Ohh that smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I won't buy this product any more, sadly. My mom used this all of the time, so that's what I used until this "new original scent" malarky - this is NOT the original scent. It is actually a little disgusting. Do better.

It smells and it's GREEN!

I have used Tide my entire life, as did my mother and grandmother. Now it smells like my clothes are sour, no matter how many times I rewash them. And the color is now green! Why did you change?? I am very sensitive to smells, and this is just HORRIBLE! There is a reason I did not buy Mountain Fresh Scent, it doesn't smell like the mountains, it stinks.

Scent

I knew something was wrong, but I thought it was spring allergies. I have been sick for over three weeks and developed bronchitis. My lungs are trashed. I finally realized yesterday it was the smell of my clothes. Tide changed the scent—the scent my body has been used to for over 50 years. I am allergic to scents except Tide and Downy that I have been accustomed to for my entire life. I praised Tide for staying the same. Now I am done. I am so angry. I have lost my spring from being sick. We received no notice on the packaging of the change. You need to notify people when you change the formula. Too many toxins invade our bodies daily. I coughed all night, bed linens washed in new Tide.

Bad smell

If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. For years, Tide had a pleasant scent, but you had to tinker with it. It made my clothes stink, and I had to switch brands.
Please bring back ‘classic’ Tide (like Classic Coke), and you will get back customers who have left like I have. Keep new Tide, but give past-long-standing customers back their true ‘Original Tide’. Thanks!

I’m so glad I got on this site and found that I wasn’t crazy! I’ve used Tide all my life and my mother. For a few years now I do not care for the scent. I try to make sure I get “original” scent but I’m guessing the original scent is not so original anymore. To me it has a strong perfume smell and I really can’t take it! Is there another scent that is closer to the original? Thanks!
