I like this product. It does it’s job at washing clothes. It’s affordable and I like it. Its the only one I’ve used for many years. I used to use another detergent but I did t like it. I like this one instead.

smell is bad like stale urine

I have over the years noticed Tides original scent has changed and smells like stale urine. I have switched brands for this reason.

Terrible smell

I can't say much about the quality of the detergent because I only used it twice and I can't stand to get close to the clothes because even after a 3 rd rinse they smell so bad. If this is supposed to be a :warm, rich scent with some woody notes", then I hate to think what they would call rotting cabbage. I ended up leaving it in the laundry room in my building and hope some one can find a use for it. I see that there are a lot of people complaining about how the smell has changed. I bought a different detergent and had to wash everything a 2nd time to get the scent (stench) out. I will NEVER buy Tide again

Tide Original Scent

My only complaint about Tide Original scent is the actual scent. It's overwhelmingly strong.

Scent has Changed

I miss the actual original scent, that smelled clean and fresh. The scent now smells like floral perfume. My family has all noticed and we have switched to Arm and Hammer Fresh Scent- it smells more like Tide Original than Tide Original itself. Its unfortunate because it is effective- but the scent is just not the same.

Fragrance change is awful

The Original Tide laundry detergent was outstanding in its cleaning results and the clean fresh fragrance it left in my laundry. I am so disappointed in the change. I think my laundry smells as tho it is slightly soured. ( as tho it was left in the washer for several days) . It reminds of Gain, that I tried once and hated the smell it left in my clothes. I have sadly purchased my last bottle of Tide detergent.

THE SMELL!!

I have used Tide for over 25 years and used no other detergent. But I can’t get over the new scent - it is overwhelmingly perfume-y and sticks with you all day. It seriously gives me headaches. And for the company to suggest buying Tide with a different scent?! I don’t want my clean laundry to smell like anything other than clean laundry! They make candles that smell like fresh laundry, how hard can it be for a detergent company to make a fresh clean smelling detergent?! This was my last bottle of Tide.

Not Original Scent

This is not the original scent, they’ve changed it. The new one is so overpowering it is disgusting. I’ve literally used Tide my entire life, it was the definition of what clean laundry smelled like for me. Please bring back the actual original scent!!!!
