The only brand I will use on my clothes. I have tried other brands but I feel like they never compare to Tide.

We’ve used Tide original

We’ve used Tide original scent detergent for years. It’s worked on all our clothes especially my husbands. He works in a machine shop and comes home with the dirtiest jeans and tee shirts. Everything comes out great. We’ve recently gotten a new washer and dryer and now use HE Tide. Same results. Tide Original Scent Liquid

The best fabric detergent

The best fabric detergent out there in my opinion. Everything always smells fresh and clean and nothing needs to be re-washed, always gets the stains out on the first try. Great concentrated liquid so you don’t have to use much in your wash to get full power.

I prefer the smell

I prefer the smell of Gain, but Tide does a great job of getting our clothes clean. It even removes the grease/oil smell from my husband's work clothes. The scent is a bit more musky than I'd prefer, but as far as detergent goes, Tide is a solid buy.

Unpleasant, STRONG and lingering fragrance

Lifelong tide original user, just started a new bottle that must be from the fragrance update from a couple of years ago (I am single and bought bulk packages) and I was so disappointed in the fragrance. It has undertones that smell like MILDEW- the last thing I want my laundry to smell like!! The smell is still strong 3 days after washing; my sheets, towels, clothes. After 57 years, I need to make a change- TODAY- need to re-wash everything to get that stench out.
Pros: Price
Cons: Satisfaction, Smell
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Several laundry detergents have

Several laundry detergents have scents that trigger my migraines but the original Tide smells nice and doesn’t bother me. I will not use anything else.
