A classic that never fails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently given the opportunity to try Tide Original laundry detergent. I normally cannot afford to buy Tide and was very happy to have this opportunity. With Tide, you don't need any fancy scents or features. It just works. You don't even need a separate stain remover. When people talk about really great laundry detergents, Tide is always at the top of the list. I wholeheartedly agree!

Not original scent

How can you call your detergent an “original scent” if it now smells like a cheap cologne! I have to rewash my clothes! I used this product for years and will never buy again. I hope it’s worth it!

Powerful, yet gentle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide is an excellent laundry detergent! We deal with a lot of odor in the clothing in our house due to work uniforms, exercise and smoke from sitting at the local social club. I find Tide to be very effective at removing all heavy odors while gently washing clothing. I wear a lot of sweaters in the cooler months and Tide isn't harsh on the materials. Fading of color is very minimal after numerous washes and there is always a pleasant scent on the freshly laundered clothing. Best laundry detergent out there for a fair price!

Don't like the new "Original" scent

First you ruined April Fresh Downy, and now Original Tide. It's definitely different and too strong a scent. Why change two great products loved by generations? Find another way to target millennials.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my tide. I don't have to use a lot for my clothes to get clean. It leaves my clothes smelling fresh and don't have my skin itching. My small amount goes a long way to keeping my clothes fresh and clean.

It's amazing product that I would recommend to anybody that is looking for detergent

Cleans and smells great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Tide on all of our laundry for about 2 weeks now and I’m hooked! My son plays football so we have some stinky, filthy things to wash. This detergent did a great job on the grass and mud stains. Everything smelled so fresh. It also does a great job on the whites. I had a salad dressing stain on my shirt and Tide got it out. It rinses clean and I didn’t leave any residue on our clothes.

I now wash my clothes with tide original and i notice my clothes still smell fresh after a couple weeks. I can wash my light color clothes ans the blue does not stain. It smells amazing. It is easy to pour and the lid has lines to tell you how much to add. Also my dark clothes do not fade after so many washes. It keels my colors bright and my darks dark.
