I bought this file caddy for my 4 drawer file cabinet. The wheel broke the next day. I returned and got my money back. Wasted time and gas to go back and forth to the store. It is very badly designed product. File cabinet caddy made with Steel frame and plastic wheels. OMG! Which mental midget thought of that? Plastics wheels..... What did you think we are going to store cotton candy in the file cabinet or thousands of sheet of paper. I do not recommend this product to anyone.

This is a great product. It was super easy to put together because the markings on the pieces let you adjust the size to fit the cabinet without having to measure each piece. The wing nuts and carriage bolts made it very easy to assemble and the interlocking rails made it stay together nicely when the bolts were in place and tightened. With the wheels in locked position it was relatively easy to get the cabinet onto the base (do take the drawers out first though). If the wheels hold up under the weight of the loaded cabinet it should last a long time. They appear not to scratch the floor and roll easily locking if you want to prevent cabinet movement.

The caddy does just what I had hoped it would do. I can now easily move my 2 drawer file cabinet anywhere I need it to be. However although it is supposed to be able to be used with larger file cabinets (4 drawer etc) I doubt it would hold up well to the weight of such. It does not appear to be that strong.
