Price is right but the smell is terrible

The India made pads have this terrible stinky wet cardboard smell. My 4 pads have been airing for a week and the smell has not gone away. Buyer beware.

Bought for my grandson who loves to draw Hope he enjoys See no reason why he would not He's only 7 but literally draws any time he has free time Think the squares may help for sizing

Good paper tears off easily wish the 1" squares were actually 1" square

I use this paper to transfer clothing patterns from the tissue and make any adjustments for size. It works well and it sturdier than the tissue. It would be nice if the 1" squares were really 1" on all 4 sides. The non-regularity of the squares means that if a pattern piece is longer than the paper attaching two pieces of paper will only match in one direction. I use it anyway as I'm making clothing patterns not quilts!

I've used flip chart pads for over 30 years and I wouldn't go with any that aren't ruled--so you can write on a straight line and that don't tear off easily--so you don't take up your listener's time by shredding the top of the page and then trying to rescue it while your audience is waiting. Staples Sustainable Earth pad do both nicely. The price is right too--competitive with any others out there including those that don't tout being made of products that are earth friendly. I'm really happy with this product.

Some improvements some drawbacks

As a professional facilitator I travel a lot regionally and carry my own flip charts and easels. The older pads had nice neat cardboard carriers -- the new model 4 to a pack cartons are harder to transport. The new pads are too long for the old carrier boxes.
