Flimsy cheap string & button closures

I ordered the boxes to store closed/inactive files from my law office. Right out of the shipping box the buttons fell off and/or were dangling from the storage boxes. The storage boxes are very easy to assemble and sturdy but the closures that did survive the shipping simply popped off when I attempted to tie them. I'll never order these boxes again. I suggest customers save money and buy the less expensive boxes with lids. I'm extremely disappointed and have sent Staples a request for refund through customer service.

Box Not Worth It

Button popped off just after wrapping string and hole too large to reinsert. Flimsy when picked up and not even full. Not enough support on top to stack boxes.

We use these boxes to store folders. All the string attachments broke off so we couldn't secure them. Next time we will pay more and go with the Banker Boxes which seem to be stronger. I thought I would give Staples brand a try because they were cheaper but was disappointed.

Good product for storage needs

I am an attorney and I use these boxes to hold closed files in my archive. I find them to be quite adequate for that purpose long term storage in a dry environment where the temperature varies between below zero to 120 degrees. They are easy to assemble and stack quite well. I keep about 50 to 75 pounds of files and miscellaneous items in each box.

I think that if you made longer strings and secured the buttoms a little more the product would get 5 stars across the board.

Strong and sturdy

This held kitchen items - plates utensils pots glasses small electrics - for donation. Did not bend did not cave - good for heavy items
