I had a major catastrophe with the kitchen garbage bag last week! When I got ready to take the garbage out I discovered that the garbage bag had sunk down into the container. What mess getting that cleaned up! I made a solemn vow that that would NOT happen again. Off to Staples where these babies were waiting for my purchase. Now with the colorful (I try to use a different color each week) rubber band holding the bag securely in place there are no more tears when it is time to take out the garbage. THANK-YOU Staples

I love these oversize rubber bands for the purpose of holding file folders closed when I have them stuffed with "fall-out" materials. I use one for bank stqtements income tax documents medical records. I can get more useage out of one file folder. I also use them for my library books at home as far as organization. I put a rubber band around books of the same category. On one shelf I used several rubber bands to hold craft books together or cookbooks. I placed one around all my origami books all my Civil War paperbacks and all my holiday books like Easter Christmas etc. They keep my bookshelves neat and orderly and organized.
