In the creation of my Diaper Cakes for Baby Showers or my Towel Cakes for Bridal Showers the large rubber bands hold the item around the center tube so as to keep my hands free and then to keep gift together until it is dismantled.

I needed large bands to keep the lids on the plastic bins I use to store my quilting fabric. I was able to put two around the entire bin. One vertically and the other horizontally to make sure the lid did not open when moving to a new home.

I always get these rubber bands at this time of the year as they are perfect for keeping the lids closed on the Christmas boxes delivered to Samaritans purse to go to children all over the world! I would recommend them!

Handy Item

I have been moving and have several small designer boxes. These bands have been unbelieveably handy in keeping the boxes secure and shut so they can be moved safely without spilling the contents. I have also found them good for holding open doors (if you have a railing behind your door) and can secure the door knob to the railing to keep the door open for those running in and out moves. For short stacks of books I have secured these with 3 or 4 bands depending on the size and this keeps the stacks in place. All-in-all I have been very pleased with this product and would suggest it to anyone who has a need for them.
