I use these for many purposes perhaps the most unique of which is to secure the plastic bag liners I use in trash reptacles so that it does not fall into the receptacle. They fit all containers from small bathroom baskets to large 12 gallon kitchen containers. I also use them to hold together magazines that I want to reain. If left loose in a stack they slide apart because of their slick surface. These rubber bands are sturdy and last a long time. I have not found them avaiable anyplace but Staples.

Needed a way to give kids multiple pieces of information that had to be kept together. The rubber bands worked perfect! They held one booklet/papers up to 2" thick.
