This would be perfect for filing household expenses and important papers and such. Not as good for anything heavy. I got mine to store and organize my family history research genealogy books and to store a few reams of paper. The paper and books are too heavy and I need to put them somewhere else. But generally it's worth the price. I would consider getting another one for storing light weight stuff I'm not going to access every day.
I needed a place to put a copier that I could move around with storage this ticks off all the boxes. Stopped at the store on Friday it was delivered the next day.
To sum it up in one word - "flimsy". Shame on Staples for allowing this to be sold as a "file cabinet". It uses cheap imitation drawer glides with wild tolerances; the drawers don't even work well when empty! (They swing noticeably sideways.) Load them with any weight at all and they will twist and jam. If your storing anything at all look elsewhere...
