It was a great little filing cabinet to hold my day to day files. I have various people coming in and out of my home when I am not here. The lock certainly will not keep them from getting into the file if they want to. A screwdriver and a good tug would open the drawers. The damage would alert me that this had happened. That is really all I wanted. If you need a lock to actually keep people out of the cabinet please spend a few more dollars.

The floor sample looked fine and I wanted to purchase it but was told I had to buy the boxed unit. The drawers are somewhat off kilter. My husband just wanted to use it right away I wanted to return it but he thought it was okay. It bothers me every time I look at it unfortunately.
